WINNER OF NEW FOLK CONTEST AT KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL: After performing with the other 32 finalists, I was chosen as one of 6 winners. We were welcomed back to Kerrville June 3 for the New Folk concert and will go on tour in November 2018 in the hill country of Texas! KERRVILLE FESTIVAL, NEW FOLK COMPETITION FINALIST: It's an honor to have been chosen as one of 32 finalists from among 600 entries. I'll be performing my 2 entry songs during the New Folk Concert on May 26, 1 - 4pm at Kerrville, the longest continuously-running music festival in N. America. CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: August 4, 2017 at Uncle Calvin's Coffeehouse, a premier listening room in Dallas. My friend and frequent co-writer Scott Sean White will join me to do the show "Nashville style". We'll be on stage at the same time, swapping songs, telling the stories behind the songs, giving insight into our lives and why we put life to music...the good parts and the hard parts!

DENVER BRONCOS MILITARY SALUTE: It's an honor to be asked to sing for an event hosted by the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos. I was invited up to sing "Lucky Me" as part of the NFL's "Salute to Service" event in November. They hosted a unit from Ft. Carson to have lunch, watch a practice, shake hands and get autographs.

The Nashville Songwriter's Association featured my song Pink on their website as one of their Top 40 songs from the first quarter of 2013. It was exciting to have a song being highlighted there! Although the page moves on to new rounds of Top 40 songs, you can still hear the song here on my website.
My song How a Mother Loves was featured during the month of May on Women of Substance Radio, an internet streaming station. That song and others can be downloaded from CDBaby, or iTunes. Links are at the bottom of this page. Thanks for tuning in!
